History in the making

The history of the Little Angels institution, like stories of most successful endeavors, is quite modest. The idea of opening LA started off with a general objective to introduce innovative techniques into the field of education in Nepal, by inspiring and encouraging creativity. Through this, the children of the country realize their true potential. Started in 1981, in a small rented house in Jawalakhel with 65 day scholar students, the institution grew by leaps and bounds as it won accolades and delivered on promises.

The demand for greater education had never been as large and LA made sure that it met these challenges head on. Soon, they had to move to a larger building to accommodate more students and to start their hostels services for a limited number of students. Their first batch of students sat for the School Leaving Certificate examinations in 1990. The outstanding results that year had been consistent, as have been the school’s performance in every other front.

Finally in 1995, they took a rise to build Nepal’s largest private school, spread amidst 300 ropanis of land, far away from the din of the city in the serene environment of Hattiban. With large modern buildings housing state-of-the-art classrooms and well-equipped laboratories and computer services and facilities for extra-curricular activities, the size of the school finally matched its ambition to succeed and produce the best professionals in various fields. Combined with these amenities are the trademark personal touch of the experienced faculty and the creativity incorporated into the teaching. The results of this hard work are apparent in the quality of students the school produces each year; truly a glorious history in the making.
